IB Program Overview

IEC is now an International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, IB DP, candidate school.

Following successful authorisation, we aim to start teaching the first DP cohort in September 2018 - Islamic Educational College - Jubaiha venue.

Islamic Educational College (males and females) - Al Jubaiha is a candidate school for the Diploma Programme. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

The IB requires that all DP teachers and administrators attend professional development workshops before the school implements the programme.

To meet this requirement, IEC invested in sending the administrators and teachers to IB
